THE GRAVE OF THE BRION FAMILY

VILLA EMO
The villa built by Andrea Palladio for Leonardo Emo between 1550 and 1560 is one of the best achievements of the great architect from Vicenza: here the combination of functionalities related to production activities and needs of representation and pleasure of the owner is perfect and solved in a brilliant way, with an elegant linear system. The interior is almost entirely frescoed by Giovan Battista Zelotti, a student from Verona, who around 1565 created cycles with mythological and allegorical subjects.
